What is Husseiny Performance all about?
Richard Husseiny founded Husseiny Performance to give people the tools to reveal and engineer themselves to be their very best every day — at work, at home, with colleagues, with family and friends and in society.
The decision to live a life with meaning and purpose, while also striving to be your best, requires training not only around your personal craft, but increasingly around mindset and varied states of consciousness. The skills we teach and coach you up on — through our online course and in-person events — are grounded in the science and art of high performance coaching.
We created our online course, Olympic Essentials, for individuals and teams that want to be better leaders & Human Beings. Olympic Essentials features video-based learning, community engagement, one-on-one feedback from an Olympic performance coach, habit tracking, and more. Our engagements are designed to enhance your ability to live in the present moment more often.
Who is Richard Husseiny?
Richard Husseiny has over 16 years coaching experience in high performance sport, with some of the best organisations and athletes in the world - from Great Britain, U.S.A and China. This includes supporting teams in preparation for two Summer Olympic Games – London 2012 and Rio 2016 – and most recently the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. He has also coached corporate leaders from companies such as PwC. Spending years in these high-stakes circumstances environments, Richard has developed clarity for the tools that allow people to “thrive under pressure.”
THE OLYMPIC ESSENTIALS ONLINE COURSE
WHAT IS OLYMPIC ESSENTIALS?
Olympic Essentials is a twelve-week online course that teaches 5 key principles. The course teaches the science of a high performance mindset to engineer your life to become your very best every day. We take the same skills that Richard Husseiny has been teaching to their high performers, and show you how to apply them to your personal and professional life through a scientifically-tested approach. The course will teach you how to build a life of meaning and purpose, while learning to push the boundaries of your personal performance.
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
If you're feeling lost, suffering from stress overwhelm, stuck in life, wanting more from your experience of life or are driven to take control of your wellbeing. Ultimately it is for you if you want to feel empowered and to cultivate the necessary skills & practices to perform at your optimal capacity & wellbeing.
WHAT IS THE TIMELINE FOR ENROLLING?
We have a new cohort starting every 3 months. The application closes eight days before the cohort launch date.

CAN ANYONE JUST DO THE COURSE?
This training is a commitment and takes hard work. Filling out the enrolment is the first step toward the longer commitment of the work you’ll do in the twelve-week course. We will have a phone call before the course start date to ensure it's a good fit for yourself & us. Ultimately we want you to succeed, so if it's the right decision to delay your intake we will be honest.

We recommend evaluating how much time you will have before and after your absence to complete coursework. Missing a week is not a big deal. Missing two or more weeks can cause stress and become difficult to catch up. Giving yourself two extra hours to catch up on the week you missed will help.
PAYMENT AND COST
WHAT IS THE TIMELINE FOR PAYMENT?
When your enrolment is accepted, you have until midnight GMT the day before the cohort begins to pay and secure your seat.
WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
Our aim is for the course to fit your personal needs and definition of finding your personal performance. If you are not satisfied with the course, please shoot us an email within 30 days of beginning the course and we’ll gladly issue you a refund. We’re on the path to high performance ourselves, and value any feedback around how we can improve our product.
WHAT IS THE COURSE STRUCTURE?
The course is self-paced, meaning you can complete each week’s work at any time you’d like. The course work includes video, assignments, quizzes and other interactive methods of learning. For specific content, see the course curriculum.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE ACCESS FOR?
The course will be accessible for twelve weeks. We encourage staying on track for each week’s course work. The aim of the course is to give you the tools you need to train after the twelve weeks is over. If you’d like to stay connected after the twelve weeks are over, we will have additional resources for you to reference.
You will be able to access all course content after you finish.
WHO ELSE WILL BE IN THE COURSE WITH ME?
You will be placed in a small team (8-16 people) to take the course with others on the same journey. As you go through course content some of your answers will be shared with your team. Going through the course with a team helps you be a more active learner. We know from research that active learning allows students to become involved with the content in a more meaningful way.
HOW WILL I COMMUNICATE WITH MY GROUP?
The course has chat functionality for you to communicate with your coaches and team in the course. To ensure the quality of the course messages may be monitored.
CAN I WORK AHEAD OF THE COURSE PACE?
The course has been designed in a way that the training within each principle builds on the next one, helping develop a framework that supports your leadership & wellbeing training. For this reason the principles must be completed in order. New principles will be released on a weekly schedule. You will set your own schedule.
WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT FOR THE COURSE?
We recommend setting aside 1-3 hours per week for course content. Most principles take about an hour to complete.
HOW CAN I ACCESS OLYMPIC ESSENTIALS?
Olympic Essentials is accessible through your desktop or mobile browser. There is a considerable amount of writing for the course and writing on a desktop may be more comfortable, however you may take the course on your mobile device or tablet if you’d like.
COURSE INSTRUCTION AND COACHING
WHO WILL BE MY COACH AND HOW SHOULD I INTERACT WITH THEM?
Your main coach will be Richard Husseiny, who has coached at the highest level of his craft. He will be there to support you on your journey, and you can engage with him as much or as little as you’d like.
Your coach is a resource to help make the content of the course applicable to your context and support you in any way they can. Your coach is available via chat once the course starts and will respond within 24 hours. You will also have 1 live group video coaching call each week. This is to dive deeper into the weekly topics.
WILL I BE COACHED BY MELANY & JOSEPHINE DIRECTLY?
To be coached by Melany (psychotherpist/energy worker) and/or Josephine (nutritional therapist) is an additional cost. We will put you in direct touch with either coach, depending on the service you desire. the reason for this is everyones journey is different, so you'll be put on a specific plan related to your needs.
HOW IS MINDSET COACHING DIFFERENT THAN A PSYCHOLOGIST?
There are lots of differences. Our program is educational in nature around mindset & wellbeing training to help you live your best life. By no means is this a substitute for counseling or psychological therapy. Our coaches have the unique experience of coaching on the world's stage and are available for your questions around mindset and their unique outlook on the principles.
