The state of Flow—those moments of rapt attention and total absorption, when you get so focused on the task at hand that everything else disappears and all aspects of performance, both mental and physical, go through the roof.
Over 100 years worth of research shows that the very attributes that Flow maximises—motivation, learning, creativity, cooperation, and overall well-being—are fundamental to success in the Twenty-first century. It’s practical, experimental and experiential. You learn a new idea about training Flow, you apply it in your life, you see what happens, and you make it your own. What Is Flow?
Flow is an optimal state of consciousness . . . where we feel and perform our best.
It is the term used by researchers for optimal states of consciousness, those peak moments of total absorption where self vanishes, time flies, and all aspects of performance go through the roof. This is due to the brain taking in more information per second and processing more deeply.
The Signature Of Flow State
The acronym S.T.E.R, defined by the Flow Genome Project, gives us the clarity to identify the key characteristics of our experiences in the Flow State:

The Zone, or Flow as it’s known in the academic space is an optimal state of consciousness in which you feel your best and you perform your best.
It refers to those moments of rapt attention and total absorption, where everything else melts away and your focus is totally in the now. Time dilates - slowing down or speeding up, your sense of Self vanishes, action and awareness merge and you become one with whatever you’re doing.
In Flow, performance & fulfilment skyrockets to otherwise unreachable heights.
We take you through essential habits, experiments and triggers designed to produce more Flow in your life. It is experimental and experiential.
Each week, we introduce the science-based triggers of Flow––and then you apply it in your own life and report back to the class.
We share our own N=1 data sets, swap feedback and improve together.
If you just want to kick back and listen to some neat ideas, occasionally be inspired, and not change, then this is not the course for you.
This course will give you significant insights if you do the work.
